Here (above), I linked some short videos by Now This News (I'm kind of obsessed with their news videos) about Ahmaud Arbery's case.
He wasn't doing anything illegal. He did not deserve this!
It infuriates me that people are now trying to cast him as the criminal and justify his wrongful murder by bringing up an incident he was arrested for YEARS ago.
And now, tell me if you disagree, but I feel now that George Floyd has been murdered, some people are starting to forget that Arbery was wronged and has still not been brought to justice.
Both cases are ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I cannot imagine the amount of fear and pain both victims felt and I am so, so sorry for them, their families, the African-American community, as well as for America for this tremendous loss.
Neither man did anything to deserve this fate. They were only the victims of a society that favors white folk; A society littered with injustice, wrongdoings, and many faults.
I will say this a billion times if I have to...
AHMAUD ARBERY DID NOT DESERVE TO DIE JUST BECAUSE HE HAD A MINOR RECORD, AND THE PEOPLE WHO KILLED HIM DID NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO GIVE HIM A DEATH SENTENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unfortunately, this is a rather short post for an extremely important cause (Black Lives Matter), and no amount of words will bring this man back, but the very least we can do is bring Ahmaud Arbery and his family justice.
Right here is a video that (basically) proves it was racism that killed this poor man.
I, personally, like this video very much (along with the very first video I listed up top) because it provides a good insight.
Like Ahmaud Arbery, no one would think they'd be killed for going for a jog and for being African-American, nor should anyone have to think that way.
What gets me is that unlike George Floyd, he wasn't killed by police, and people are STILL trying to justify his murder. Even if he were a burglary suspect, the killers had no right to go playing the cops in the situation.
